Winford Hobbs

Winford Hobbs, 93, of Elizabethtown, IL. died Thursday June 15, 2017 at Hardin County General Hospital. He was a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps., member of Peters Creek Baptist Church and the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Margie Hobbs of Elizabethtown, IL; step daughter, Victoria Riley of Elizabethtown, IL and niece, Vickey Tuggy of Anaheim, CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sol and Minnie Hobbs; brothers, Willard and Weldon Hobbs and sister, Maxine Johnson.
Services are scheduled for 1 PM Monday June 19, 2017 at Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Chapel, in Rosiclare, IL. with interment in Empire Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from Noon Monday until service time at the funeral home.
Military rites will be given at the cemetery.
Donations may be made to Peters Creek Baptist Church.
