Wilma Ruby (Robinson) Womack of Harrisburg, IL passed peacefully on September 18th, 2023 at 9:50
pm with her loved ones by her side. Wilma was born on June 6 th , 1933, to the late Pearl and Revella
Robinson in Hardin Co., IL. Wilma will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and loved ones. She knew
the love of her Savior and will be walking streets of gold with family members that have gone on before
her. She is preceded in death by her parents, twin brother William Robinson, three brothers: Charles
Robinson, James Eugene Robinson, and Steven Leroy Robinson, and a sister Doris Pershy. She is also
preceded in death by two sisters-in-law Gail Robinson and Diane Robinson, and three nieces: Rebecca
Pershy, Kristina Marler, and Annette Hall. Lastly, Wilma will finally be reunited with her first-born son
James “Jimmy” Russell Robinson who went to be with the Lord over 36 years ago. What a reunion that
will be!
Wilma was known for accepting everyone into her family. There was no such thing as step, in-law, or
stranger to her. She is leaving a very large family behind to carry on her memory. She is survived by two
brothers Dean (Diane) Robinson of Herod and Lonnie “Jack” Robinson of Harrisburg. Wilma has five
children that survive her: three daughters Jeannie (Darrell) Pierce, Elsie Orange, and June (Jim) Jones all
of Harrisburg, IL; and two sons Ted Womack of Evansville, IN, and Tim Womack of Harrisburg, IL. Wilma
is survived by twelve grandchildren: Jaime (Bruce) Briddick, Jerika Jones (Rick McDurmon), Tim
McCaughan, Zoey Kaylor (Tyler Herron), John (Josie) Parker, Erika Parker, Jess (Kati) Pierce, Lindsey
(Ryan) Stalcup, Megan (Nathan) Payne, Lizzie Womack, Loni Womack, Wil (Andrea) Staley, and Jaclyn
Womack. She also leaves behind twenty-three great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and
several nieces and nephews. She also leaves her three fur babies Jimmy, Heart, Ruby, and her “chore
girls” Shirley and Susie with whom she was very close.
Graveside service will be held Sunday, September 24 th at 3pm at Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabethtown, IL.
Rev. Harold Miller will be proceeding. Hardin County Funeral Service in Rosiclare will be in charge
of services.
