Wilma Jewel Allen

Wilma Jewel Allen, 89, of Marion, KY passed away February 1, 2022 at Livingston Hospital and Healthcare Services, Inc. She was a member of Seven Springs Baptist Church and foster parent of 92 children.
Survivors include her daughters, Yetta (Jim) Freeman of Hot Springs, Arkansas; Cynthia Ann Short-Tyson of Marion, KY, Elizabeth Ann Baker of Mexico, KY and Susan Marie Jones of Clay, KY; son, James A "Bert" (Marty) Allen of Jericho, VT; grandchildren, Phillip (Bianca) Hinchee, Justin Baker, Raichel Jones, Tyree Jones, Scott (Stacey) Langston, Nickolas (Laura) Allen, Sean Allen, Logan Allen, Kelly Allen, Brendan Allen; great grandchildren, Wesley and Olivia Hinchee and Grayson Langston and Austin Merriott.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James T. "Bud" Allen; parents, William McKinley and Rutha Mae Fletcher and brothers, Emmett, Roy Ellis and Guthrie Clifton Fletcher.
Services are scheduled for 11 AM Saturday February 5, 2022 at Seven Springs Baptist Church with interment in Mexico Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 9 AM until service time at the church on Saturday.
Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, Kentucky is in charge of arrangements.
