William "Bill" Tabor

William T. "Bill" Tabor of the Mexico Community passed away Tuesday December 17, 2024 at his home surrounded by family and friends.

He was retired from Pyro Coal Mines. Bill lived life to the fullest and had many friends who loved him. He loved to hunt and had been to several states on hunting trips. He liked to make jellies and jams and give them to his friends. Bill was a member of Dycusburg Baptist Church and a Veteran of the United States Army.

Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Darlene Tabor of the Mexico Community; daughter, Lee Ann Tabor of Mexico; brother, Joe Tabor of Louisiana and Edward Tabor of Fredonia; sister, Linda Kemper of Madisonville, granddaughters, Tatum Perry of Atwood, TN and Krista Vandra of West Point, VA and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rollie and Edmona Tabor; brothers, Harold "Cotton" Tabor and Freddie Tabor and a sister, Edith Cronin.

Private services will be held a later date.

Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY is in charge of arrangements.
