William Gary Dowell

William Gary Dowell, 61, of Marion, KY passed away September 28, 2024.

Gary was born June 23, 1963 in Princeton, KY to Edith Josephine Dowell. He is a graduate of Lyon County High School Class of 1981. Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his wife and family. He was outgoing, friendly and was always lending a helping hand to those around him in need.

Survivors include his wife, Becky Carmon Dowell; daughter, Chelsea (David) Gregory; son, Ryan Dowell and grandson, Kyler Goodwin; mother, Josephine Dowell; mother and father-in-law, Linda and Ron Pederson; siblings, Dwayne (Debbie) Dowell, Tammy Caraway, Janice (Doug) Keel, Renee Dowell and Anthony (Rachel) Dowell; brothers-in-law, Chris (Amy) Carmon and Doug Hargrove and several nieces and nephews.

Gary was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd and Lucille Pearcy.

Private memorial services were held.

Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY was in charge of arrangements.
