Wanda Lea Shewmaker, 82, of Rosiclare, IL. passed away on Monday November 26, 2012 at her residence surrounded by family. She was born in Golconda, IL. on September 22, 1930 to George Joiner and Hattie Ledbetter Joiner.
She is survived by Son: David & Karen Vinyard of Grand Junction, Tenn.; Son: Thomas & Jerri Vinyard of Marion, IL.; Dau: Sally Ramsey of Eldorado, IL.; Dau: Sandra & Daniel Rangel of Cleveland, Ohio; Son: Paul & Linda Vinyard of Newport News, VA.; Companion of 18 years: Granville Brownfield of Rosiclare, IL.; 12 Grand Children: Jenny, Charlie, Amy, Haley, Misty, Jennifer, Jordan, Jayna, Andrew, Brodie, Erin, & Aaron; 14 Great Grand Children; Special Nieces: Sharon Reed, Linda McBee, and Judi Kay Shores.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles K. Vinyard and Jim Shewmaker, Her parents, Grandson: Charlie Tuttle; Siblings: Curtis, Goldie, Bertie, Catherine, Mary, George, Marion, and Dorothy.
Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. As per her wishes, Ms. Shewmaker has been cremated and a memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Hardin Co. Hospital Auxillary or the Hardin County Golden Circle.
