Virginia Irene McDowell, 83, of Marion, KY died October 22, 2021 at Crittenden Community Hospital. She was a member of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Carlene Thompson of Marion, KY; grandchildren, David (Lindsay) Thompson of DeMotte, IN and Amanda Arnold of Sheridan, IN and great grandchildren, Tyler, William and Emmalynn Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Wendell McDowell; parents, William Carl and Thelma Irene Newcom and brother, Robert Wayne Hodge.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1 PM Saturday October 23, 2021 at Rosebud Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Mary Hall Ruddiman Animal Shelter.
Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY is in charge of arrangements.
