Virginia K. Wilson McCabe, 92, of Chandler, Indiana, formerly of Marion, KY died December 29, 2013 at Hamilton Pointe Village in Newburgh, IN.
She was born November 7, 1921 to Calvin and Gladys Wilson. Other than her parents, preceding her in death was her husband Denver McCabe; one stepson, Den McCabe; one grandson, Kevin McCabe and her sister, Elizabeth Boyd.
She was of the Presbyterian Faith.
She is survived by two daughters, Judith (Harry) Wilder of Chandler, IN and Linda (Randy) Clary of Henderson, KY; sons, Michael (Susan) Newcom of Fort Worth, TX and Steven Newcom of Ashland, TN; step daughters, Wanda Boarman, Onita (Larry) Fitzgerald and Sue Allen all of Evansville, IN; stepson, Kenneth (Barbara) McCabe of Ellington, MO; daughter-in-law, Susan Heese of Grand Junction, CO; brother-in-law, Gene (Sug) Williams of Bunker, MO; nineteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and cousins.
Services are scheduled for 1 PM Wednesday January 1, 2014 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Repton Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 10 AM until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
