Virginia Cox, 80, of Herod, IL died Saturday June 20th at Brookstone Assisted Living in Harrisburg, Illinois.
She is survived by her children, Roy Leon Robinson of Robinson, IL, Carl R. Cox of Herod, IL and Carolyn Ellis of Marion, IL; brother, Lowell Ashford of Metropolis, IL; seven grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Lester Cox, two brothers and parents, Arlie and Lottie Rose Ashford.
Services are scheduled for 1 PM Tuesday at Cox Funeral Home in Rosiclare, IL with burial in Lavender Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 10 AM until service time at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to Lavender Cemetery, P.O. Box 267, Rosiclare, IL. 62982.
