Virgil G. "Dink" Lewis

Virgil G. "Dink" Lewis, 82, of Cave-In-Rock, IL died Sunday at Rosiclare Health and Rehab. He was a member of Potters Church and Gideons International.
Surviving are his wife, Carrie Mae Lewis of Cave-In-Rock, IL; children, Tommy Lewis of Cave-In-Rock, IL, Jimmy Lewis of Paducah, KY and Stan Lewis of Illinois; brothers, Lonnie Ray Lewis of Cave-In-Rock, IL and Larry Lewis of Junction, IL; sisters, Gladys Douglas and June McDowell both of Cave-In-Rock, IL; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Cleta Lewis, Sr. and 2 brothers.
Services are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday at Potters Church in Cave-In-Rock, IL with interment in Cave Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-9 PM Tuesday at the church. Rose-Gilbert Funeral Home in Cave-In-Rock, IL is in charge of the arrangements.
