Victor P. "Pippi" Hardin, 62, of Marion, KY died Thursday at his home in Marion, KY. He was a retired Kentucky State Trooper, former Crittenden County Judge Executive, former Director of Western Kentucky State Parks and member of Marion United Methodist Church.
Surviving is his wife, Phillis Hardin of Marion, KY; daughters, Vicki Hardin Hatfield of Morganfield, KY, Stefanie Hardin of Marion, KY and Kayla (Daniel) Gachoka of Murray, KY; brother, Richard M. "Dickie" (Wilma) Hardin of Grand Rivers, KY; sisters, Kathy (David) Edmondson of Chandler, IN and Teresa Davenport of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Hogan and Addie Hatfield of Morganfield, KY and Malaika Gachoka of Murray, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ewell Francis and Martha Lynn Hardin, Jr, and 1 brother, Ricky Hardin.
Services are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday at Crittenden County High School's Rocket Arena with interment in Mapleview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-9 PM Saturday at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY and from 9 AM until service time Sunday at Rocket Arena.
