Vernon Everett Oxford, 87, of Elizabethtown, IL died November 20, 2020 at Hardin County General Hospital.
Survivors include his son, Thomas (Kelly) Oxford of Elizabethtown, IL; grandchildren, Blake Oxford and Natasha (Brennon) Williams of Elizabethtown, IL; great grandchildren, Brevin, Blaize and Camri Oxford and Thomas, Bentley and Nicholas Williams; sister, Barbara (Richard) Shumay and brother, Donnie (Donna) Oxford.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Oxford; parents, Herman and Velma Oxford; sisters, Freda Rose and Gertrude Pickering; brother, James Troy Oxford and granddaughter, Ashley Oxford.
Graveside services are scheduled for 11 AM Monday November 23, 2020 at Peters Creek Cemetery with interment to follow.
Donations may be made to Peters Creek Cemetery.
Hardin County Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
