Veldene " Hoot " Austin Kenreck, 74, of Henderson, KY. passed away on December 21, 2012 at 6:05 A.M. at Deaconess Hospice Care Center in Evansville, IN. She was born in Cave-In-Rock, IL. on January 25, 1938 to Arthur Austin Sr. and Verdna ( Barnard ) Austin.
She is survived by a Sister: Faye Oxford of Cave-In-Rock, IL; Brother: Arthur & Charlotte Austin Jr. of Cave-In-Rock, IL.; Nephew: Tim & Bobbi Oxford of McCleansboro, IL.; Nephew: Dennis Damon of Rosiclare, IL.; Niece: Tammi Oxford of Henderson, KY.; Nephew: David & Susan Austin of Rocklin, CA.; 2 Great Nephews; 2 Great Nieces; 5 Aunts; 2 Uncles.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband: James J. Kenreck; Brother In Law: Herbert Austin Jr.
Hardin County Funeral Services, Rose-Gilbert Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be on Saturday December 22, 2012 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be on Sunday December 23, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The Rev. Ed Lafferty and Rev. Diane Wilkerson will officiate the services. Burial will follow at Cave Hill Cemetery in Cave-In-Rock, IL. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Baptist Children's Home in Carmi, IL.
