Velda Mae Henderson

Velda Mae Henderson, 89, of Marion, KY died Monday at Crittenden County Health and Rehab. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Marion, KY.

Surviving is her son, Joe (Madeline) Henderson of Marion, KY; daughter, Brenda (Earl) Blanton of Leitchfield, KY; brothers, Jewell and Don Pugh both of Marion, KY; sisters, Mary Pugh of Marion, KY, Zoa Nell Davis of Ledbetter, KY, Pauline Willings and Sue Tabor both of Paducah, KY; grandchildren, Eric (April) Henderson of Henderson, KY, Jason Henderson of Antioch, TN and Kevin, Keith and Troy Blanton all of Leitchfield, KY; great grandchildren, Erica Lynn Henderson of Henderson, KY and Savannah Blanton of Leitchfield, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Henderson; parents, Virgil and Agnes Pugh; brothers, Harry Lee and Junior Pugh and sisters, Anna Louise and Barbara Pugh.

Services are scheduled for 1 PM Thursday at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in White Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
