Shirley Joan Hackney

Shirley Joan Hackney, 76, of Marion, KY died Monday at her home in Marion, KY.

Surviving are her sons, Dean Hackney of Ledbetter, KY, Ronnie Hackney of Smithland, KY, Clark , Eddie and Joey Hackney all of Marion, KY; daughters, Sharon Tinsley of Marion, KY, Penny Garrett of Morganfield, KY, Diann Shuecraft, Donita James and Jeanette Doom all of Marion, KY; brothers, Claude Agent of Madisonville, KY, Jerry Agent of Marion, KY, Robert and Billy Wayne Harris both of Morocco, IN, Tommy and Denny Harris both of Salem, KY; sisters, Carolyn Mendez of Oakland, CA, Viola Miller of Morocco, IN, Evelyn Orenduff of Tuscon, AZ, Faye Baker and Erma Springs both of Salem, KY; 31 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Hackney, son, Allen Hackney; parents, Claude and Estelle Agent; stepfather, Ules Harris; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Services are scheduled for 11 AM Thursday at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Mapleview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Wedndesday at the funeral home.
