Ms. Ruth Pell Lamar

Ruth Pell Lamar, 95, of Rosiclare, IL. Passed away on September 12, 2013 at 11:30 P.M. She was born on April 12, 1918 in Rosiclare, IL. to Walter Webster Pell and Eva McCormick. On April 12, 1946 she married the love of her life, Bennie Lamar, who preceded her on November 12, 2007. She was a retired sales clerk, former 4H club leader, member of the Hardin Co. historical society and Bi-Centennial committee, and a member of the Cave In Rock Methodist Church.
She is survived by a Son: Dan & Linda Lamar of Cave In Rock, IL.; Dau: Barbara & Carroll Ridley of Stonefort, IL.; Dau: Ella Gibson of Savannah, Georgia; Son: Paul & Laura Lamar of Elizabethtown, IL.; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband: Bennie Lamar; Sisters: Helen Clayton, Katheryne Crawford, and Ella Pell; Bro: Webster Pell.

Hardin County Funeral Services, Rose- Gilbert Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be on September 21, 2013 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Services will be at 1:00 P.M. on September 21, 2013 at the funeral home. Rev. Jim Clayton will be officiating the services. Burial will follow at Cave Hill Cemetery at Cave In Rock, IL.
