Ruth Crowell

Ruth Mae Crowell, 79, of Bradenton, FL, formerly of Marion, KY, passed away Sunday April 18, 2021 at the Life Care Center of Sarasota. She was a member of Bayshore Baptist Church.
Ruth was born April 12, 1942 in Crittenden County Kentucky to the late James Oakley and Loamie Travis.
Survivors include her son, Sean Crowell; daughter, Sandy Pence; grandchildren, Brittni Barnett, Bayley Thomas, Hunter Thomas, Liberty Pence, Cameron Crowell and Kendall Crowell; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, J.T., Carlos and Butch Travis; sister, Judi Smith and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ina and Juanita Travis and brother, Roger Travis.
Graveside services are scheduled for 11 AM Friday April 30, 2021 at Sugar Grove Cemetery in Marion, KY.
Donations may be made to the ALS Association.
Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY is in charge of arrangements.
