Ruby Maxine Walker

Ruby Maxine Walker, 86, of Rosiclare, IL. passed away on Thursday, July 20,2017. She was born on January 2, 1931 to Aaron and Anna Bell Sutherland. Ruby was employed at Bob’s Food Mart in her later years before she retired and was a member of Honeycomb Church. Ruby was the last of eight children. On February 23, 1946, she married Joseph Charles (JC) Hobbs and they were blessed with three boys Charles Aaron, Ronald Joseph, Donald Wayne.
Rudy is survived by her Son: Ronald (Joe) and Darlena Hobbs of Cave-In-Rock, Il.; 3 Grandchildren: Heath Hobbs of Henderson, Ky., Rhonda Winters of Elizabethtown, Il., Dewayne Hobbs of Gilbertsville, KY. and 6 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great- Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her Parents: Aaron and Anna Bell Sutherland; 2 Sons: Charles Hobbs and Donnie Hobbs; 3 Brothers: Frank Sutherland, Jt Sutherland, James Sutherland; 4 Sisters: Pearl Collier, Golda Blair, Lola Mae Banks, Catherine Rogers; her 1st Husband: J.C. Hobbs; 2nd Husband: Raymond Turner; 3rd Husband: Fred (Tuffy) Walker; Grandson: Rickie Joe Hobbs.
Hardin County Funeral Service, Cox Chapel will oversee arrangements. Service will be held Monday, July 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at funeral home. Family will receive visitors on Sunday, July 23, 2017 for 5:00 pm till 8:00 pm. Burial will be at Fluorine Cemetery. Rev. Harold Miller will officiate.
