Roy Lamar, Jr., 85 of Rosiclare, IL., died August 28, 2009 at Hardin County General Hospital in Rosiclare, after six years of deteriorating health.
He is survived by his son Wayne Lamar (Donna) of Rosiclare, IL, and his daughter Sandra Rapp ( Don) of Anchorage, Alaska; four grandchildren, Mike, Launy, Tracey, and Bonnie; six great-grandchildren, Misti, Justin, Emilio, Makayla, Christensen, and Katie; one brother, James Robert Lamar of Surprise Arizona; seven Nephews and ten Nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Agnes Lamar; four brothers, Earl, Bennie, Freddy, and Carl; three sisters, Catherine, Lillian and Dorothy; two grandsons, David and Patrick; one nephew, F.E. Stasch Jr.; one niece, Dotty Dodson.
Friends may call from 9am to 11am Thursday September 3, and services are scheduled for 11 am Thursday September 3 at Cox Funeral Home in Rosiclare IL.
Burial will follow at Fluorine Cemetery.
Cox Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
