Mr. Roy Eugene Fricker

Roy Eugene Fricker, 71, of Cave In Rock, Il. passed away on January 5, 2017.

Gene is survived by his Wife: Elaine (McDowell) Fricker of Cave In Rock, Il; Daughter Brandi and Kevin Aoki of Hawaii; Son: Lee and Melinda Fricker of Cave In Rock, IL; Grand Daughters: Laurin and Karlynn Aoki, Whitlee Fricker; Grandsons: Morgan and Landon Fricker; Brother: Kenneth and Jo Ann Fricker; Sisters: Della Ramsey, Carolyn and Donnie Graham, Linda and Neal Smith: Many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
Gene is preceded in death by Parents: Howard and Ida Bell (Robinson) Fricker; Sisters: Roberta Hanes, Cathleen Williams, Ruth Goolsby; Brothers: Wiley, Doug, Bob, Russell Fricker.
Gene was born on May 24, 1945 to Howard and Ida Bell (Robinson) Fricker in Hardin County, IL. He went on to marry Elaine (McDowell) Fricker. Gene severed his country in the Vietnam War as a member of the U.S. Army. He worked as a corrections officer at Hardin County Work Camp.
Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home is in charge of services. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 5pm -8pm at Potters Church in Cave In Rock, IL. Funeral will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 1pm at the same location. Rev. Lee Fricker will officiate the ceremony. Interment will be at Cave In Rock Hill Cemetery with Military Rights preformed by American Legion Post 571.
