Ronald Bruce Blake Sr.

Ronald Bruce Blake, Sr., 72, of Ledbetter, KY, formerly of Marion, died November 7, 2021 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Center in Paducah, KY. He was a United States Air Force Veteran, member of Seven Springs Baptist Church, Dycusburg Masonic Lodge Number 232, the American Legion and worked at Peabody Coal Camp 11.
Survivors include his children, Ronald Bruce "Junior" Blake, Jr. and wife Tiara of Manassas, VA and Crystal Blake Mendiola of Rock Hill, S.C.; grandchildren, Preston Blake, Ronald Bruce Blake III, Braedan Blake, Britton Blake, Brooklyn Blake, Brielle Blake, Kayla Mendiola, Christopher Mendiola, Ronalyn Mendiola and David Junior Mendiola; great grandchildren, Asher, Abel and Cohen Blake and Isabella, Christopher Junior, Ma'liaa, Ryder and Zaybriel Mendiola; brother, Clayton (Edna) Blake and sister, Mechelle (Larry) Cheek.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oman Russell and Ruby Laverne Blake; wife, Phyllis Blake and sisters, Wanda Dooms and Cheryl Blake.
Services are scheduled for 1 PM Saturday November 13, 2021 at Seven Springs Baptist Church in Marion, KY with interment in Mapleview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Friday at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY and from 9 AM until service time Saturday at the church.
Military Rites will be held at the cemetery on Saturday.
