Robert J. Newford, 92, of Rosiclare, IL. passed away at 6:50 A.M. on Friday December 28, 2012 at the Rosiclare Healthcare and Rehab Center. He as born on November 6, 1920 in Chicago, IL. to Fred and Florence Newford. He was a retired security guard and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by a Daughter: Sandra and John Sine of Elizabethtown, IL.; Daughter: Judy and Brad Woodbury of DesPlains, IL.; Son: Robert Newford of Elizabethtown, IL.; Son: David and Pam Newford of DesPlains, IL.; 1 grandchild; 6 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife: Lois (Hook) Newford; and his second wife: Jean Newford.
Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. As per his wishes, Mr. Newford has been cremated. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
