Robert Franklin Cronkrite, 80, of Elizabethtown, IL. died May 28, 2019 at Rosiclare Healthcare and Rehab.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Carole Johnson Cronkrite; son, Marc (Amanda) Cronkrite; daughter, Vicki (Billy) Vogt; grandchildren, Cassie Van Tassle, Karianne Craig, Caitlyn Cronkrite, John Donisch, Shane Vogt, Lauren Cronkrite and Vivian Cronkrite; great grandchildren, Elaina, Kivlin and Lilly Van Tassle, Evelyn and Elsie Craig, Kyler and Paylee Hill, Johnnie, Makenna and Callie Donisch and Violet Vogt; aunt, Veldene Riggs, brother, Larry Gustin and numerous nieces. nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, George W. Cronkrite; step father, Roy Austin; mother, Nina Riggs Cronkrite Austin; sisters, Betty, Winnie and Janice and brother, Bill.
Robert had a 40 plus year career as a Local 597 Pipefitter and retired in 2000.
Memorial services are scheduled for 11 AM Saturday June 1, 2019 at the Rosiclare United Methodist Church with Rev. Roger Russell officiating.
