Robert Beavers, 73, of Cave-In-Rock, IL died Sunday at Hardin County Hospital in Rosiclare, IL.
He is survived by his children, Leon Beavers of Paducah, KY and Patty McDowell of Stonefort, IL; brothers, James I. Beavers of Cave-In-Rock, IL, Gene Beavers of Carmi, IL and Kenny Beavers of Springfield, IL; sister, Wanda Bragdon of Harrisburg, IL; stepson, Marc Reeder of Eldorado, IL; 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Robert Lee and Lillie Mae Beavers; son, Terry Ray Beavers and wife, Rebecca Beavers.
Services are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday at Rose-Gilbert Funeral Home in Cave-In-Rock, IL. with interment in Cave Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Military rites will be given at the cemetery on Wednesday.
