Robert "Bob" Banks

Robert "Bob" Banks, 72, of Rosiclare, IL. passed to Heaven December 20, 2019 at Rosiclare Health and Rehab. Bob was enlisted in the U.S. Army and served as a truck driver in Vietnam from 1967-1968.


Survivors include his daughters, Shannon (Wayne) Lane of Rosiclare, IL. and Vonnie Davis of Dell City, OK.; sisters, Mildred Hobbs of Elizabethtown, IL. and Vickie (Steve) Thompson of Henderson, KY.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; 2 nieces and 1 nephew.


Preceding him in death were his parents, Loren and Catherine Banks; daughter, Amy Larrimore; brothers, Bill and Mike Banks; son-in-law, Randy Davis and nephews, Rick Hobbs and Shane Thompson.


The family would like to give a special thanks for the care Bob received from the staff of Rosiclare Health and Rehab during his 4 year stay.


Services are scheduled for 11 AM Monday December 23, 2019 at Hardin County Funeral Service with interment in Empire Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.


Military rites will be held at the cemetery on Monday.
