Surviving is his wife, Barbara Jo Gipson of Marion, KY and mother, Shelby Gipson of Marion, KY.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Henry Gipson and brother, Ronnie Gipson.
Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
