Richard S. Small

Richard S. Small, 83, of Marion, KY. died Thursday July 26, 2018 at his home in Marion, KY. He was a member of Marion Baptist Church, United States Army Retired, owner of Ohio River Concrete and member of the Peoples Bank Board.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Sue Small of Marion, KY.; daughter, Julie Mellecker of Broomfield, CO.; son, Stuart Allen Manley of Dunedin, FL. and grandchildren, Jill Mellecker of Broomfield, CO. and Matthew Mellecker of Ft. Collins, CO.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvert Prentiss and Clara Maude Small.

Services are scheduled for 11 AM Tuesday July 31, 2018 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY. with entombment in Mapleview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Monday at the funeral home.

Donations may be made to the Crittenden County Humane Society or Marion Baptist Church.

Military rites will be given at the cemetery on Tuesday.
