Rev. Cortis E. Hill

Services for Reverend Cortis Edmon Hill, 84 of Crayne will be at 2:00 PM Friday at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion. The Reverend Jack Dodson will officiate. Reverend Hill died at 10:45 AM Tuesday at his home on the same date that he was "born" into the Kingdom of God.
He was a member of Piney Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he served as pastor for over 40 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and the Korean War.
Surviving are two sons, Gary (Jane) of Henderson and Richard (Peggy) of Crayne; one daughter, Bonnie (Tim) Matherly of Hopkinsville; four grandchildren: Amber Daviess (Tim)of Mount Julliet, TN.; Christy Hill of Lexington; Chase Hill of Henderson and Rebekah matherly of Clarksville, TN.; four sisters, Laverne Travis, Louise Boswell, Mayme Jean Cunningham,and Betty Mayes Petty and two brothers, Robert and Buddy Hill.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Dorothy Glenn, his parents James Coy and Virgil Hill and two brothers, James and Glendell Hill.
