Rebecca Boone Wilson

Rebecca B. Wilson, 86, of Owensboro, Kentucky died Tuesday, February 1, 2011, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born on April 7, 1924 in Crittenden County, Kentucky, one of eight children of the late William O. and Lola Blackburn Boone. She was a longtime member of the Cumberland Presbyterian faith and enjoyed Braves baseball and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ray Wilson, on August 3, 1997.



Survivors include her son, William R. Wilson and wife, Karen of Owensboro; two granddaughters, Susan L. Clark and Shelly Evans and husband, Tony; five great grandchildren, James Wilson Mills, Ronnie Evans, Danielle Clark, Madelyn Clark and Rilee Evans and a brother, James T. Boone of Marion, KY.



Visitation is from 3:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro and from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Saturday at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY. Services are at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at Gilbert Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pinefork Cemetery in Marion, KY.
