Rebecca Ann McDowell

Rebecca A. McDowell (64) of Crittenden County, KY passed away peacefully with family at her home on August 1, 2024. Ann was known for her strong will, unwavering determination, and her big heart. She remains an inspiration to her loved ones who will live each day in memory of the strong and loving woman Ann was. While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering alongside her son & husband. Ann was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Ranetta E. McDowell, RaKara D. (Grant) Allen, and RaShawna D. (JT) Tinsley; her step children, Robert D. McDowell, Stephanie M. (Michael) Carter, Timothy L. (Marta) McDowell, and Crystal Baxley (Larry); and several step-grandchildren. Her brothers, Billy and Donald Knight; and sisters, Rosetta Kay Tinsley, Rhoda Sue Tinsley, and Reba Fay Todd. Including several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Alongside grandparents she was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ruth Knight; her husband, Robert C. McDowell; her son, Eddie Knight; and her sister, Roella Knight. 

Funeral services will be held 1pm Tuesday August 6,2024 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment following at Rosebud Cemetery, the family will receive visitors from 10 am until service time at the funeral home.
