Rayburn Dwayne "Petey" Doom, 66, of Marion, KY passed away November 4, 2024 at his home in Marion, KY.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Doom of Marion, KY; children, Rocky Doom, Jo (Eddie) McAlister and Chasity (Travis) Allcock all of Marion, KY; grandchildren, Dane Allcock of Marion KY, Destiny (Drew) Pulley of Cadiz, KY, Michaela Findley of Madisonville, KY; Savannah McAlister of Cottonwood, CA and Mariah McAlister of Marion, KY; brother, Jerrold (Joy) Doom of Marion, KY; sisters, Wanda Berry of Marion, KY, Gail (Ronnie) Hackney of Smithland, KY, Eula Bates of Paducah, KY, Darlene Bessler of Valparaiso, IN, Barbie (Mike) Eaton of Elkhart, IN and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Bella Allcock; parents, Rayburn and Lossie Mae Doom; mother and father-in-law, Charles and Shirley Hackney; brothers, Charles, Jimmy and Timmy Doom; sisters, Marcena Chaney, Odie Huff and Hazel Freisner and brothers-in-law, Jimmy Berry, James Bates, Tom Chaney and Ed Bessler.

Services are scheduled for 1 PM Friday November 8, 2024 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Frances Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 10 AM Friday until service time Friday at the funeral home.
