Mr. Ollie James "Jim" Davis

Ollie James “Jim” Davis, of Eddyville, IL. passed away at his residence on October 10, 2015. He was born in Tulu, KY. on August 5, 1946 to Ollie Stewart Davis and Nina (Clark) Davis. He was a retired service technician from Shawnee Communications.
He is survived by his girlfriend: Ruth Shreves of Eddyville, IL.; Daughter: Regina Poindexter of Rosiclare, IL.; Daughter: Kathy and Danny Barnard of Elizabethtown, IL.; Son Daren Davis of Rosiclare, IL.;
He was preceded in death by his Wife: Wanda Davis; Parents: Ollie and Nina Davis; and Brother: Franklin Ditterline
Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. Funeral services will be held on Thursday October 15, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Stone Church Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday October 14, 2015 at the funeral home. Rev. Steve Dunn will officiate the services.
