Millard F. Davis

July 22, 1933 — December 23, 2013

Millard F. Davis, 80, of Paducah, KY formerly of Cave-In-Rock, IL died Monday at his home in Paducah, KY. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, former player for the NBA St. Louis Hawks and member of the University of Memphis Athletic Hall of Fame.

Surviving is his wife, Sharon Davis of Paducah, KY; sons, John Davis of Colorado Springs, CO and Mike Davis of Paducah, KY; daughters, Cally Hage of Boulder Creek, CA and Wendy Jackson of Woodland Hills, CA; brothers, Iril Davis of Eagle River, Wisconsin and Thornton Davis of Harrisburg, IL; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Davis and several brothers and sisters.

Services are scheduled for 1 PM Friday at Rose-Gilbert Funeral Home in Cave-In-Rock, IL with interment in Cave Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 11 AM until service time Friday at the funeral home.
