Mr. Michael Thomas Vaughn

Michael Thomas “Casper” Vaughn, 66, departed his earthly home to go his heavenly home on February 7, 2016. He was born in Alton, Illinois to William Thomas Vaughn and Dorothy Mae Hall Vaughn on April 5, 1949. He was a retired truck driver. He was a Vietnam Veteran in the Navy from 1968 to 1970. He was a King James Bible believing Christian, and loved to tell people about Jesus and give people King James Bibles. He love the Lord and his family.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jeanette; Sons: Matt and Jenny Anderson of Bloomington, IL.; Son: Mike and Chronda Vaughn of Eldorado, IL.; Son: Danny Vaughn of Herod, IL.; Son: Aaron Vaughn of East Peoria, IL.; Daughter: Michell Vaughn Willis of Peoria, IL.; Grandchildren: Katelyn Daughtery, Hope Daughter, Cody Anderson, Mattie Anderson, Rany Hacker, Stephanie Vaughn, Ryan Vaughn, Tyler Vaughn, Ninamarie Vaughn, and Brianna Morrill; 1 great grand daughter; Brother: Jerry and Lora Vaughn; and Sister: Becky Sheffield.
He was preceded in death by his parents: William Thomas Vaughn and Dorothy Mae (Hall) Vaughn; and Son: William Jacob Vaughn
Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. Funeral services will be on Wednesday February 10, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family will receive visitors from 11:00 till funeral time. Burial will be at Lavender Cemetery. Military rites will follow.
