Michael McKinney

Michael McKinney, 76, of Rosiclare, IL passed away Thursday July 11, 2024. He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church in Eddyville, KY, served 7 years in the army, two and a half tours in Vietnam, and worked as a correctional officer at the Kentucky State Penitentiary. Mike also was an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan.

Survivors include his wife, Mary McKinney of Rosiclare, IL; daughter, Michelle Henderson of Owensboro, KY; twin brother, Mitchell (Pam) McKinney of Kuttawa, KY; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; step daughter, Angie Atkinson; three step grandchildren; seven step great-grandchildren, a niece and great nephew. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Barbara McKinney; one niece and one nephew.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Sunday July 14, 2024 at Hardin County Funeral Service in Rosiclare, IL with burial following at Stone Church Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 11 am until service time at the funeral home.
