Melissa Dawn Barnard, 32, of rural Elizabethtown, Il. Passed away on March 1, 2013 at 12:22 P.M. at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. She was born in Harrisburg, Il. On July 10, 1980 to Ronnie Joe Barnard and Patti ( Banks ) Barnard. She was a member of PhI Beta Kappa.
She is survived by her Parents: Ronnie Joe & Patti Barnard of Elizabethtown, IL.; Sis: Rhonda Renee Barnard of Elizabethtown, IL.; Fiance: Ricky Hicks of Harrisburg, IL.; Special friend: Josh Hawes of Elizabethtown, IL.; Maternal Grandparents: Alvin & Ida Ruth Banks of Herod, IL.; Many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Paternal Grandparents: Jesse & Ilene Barnard

Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Monday March 4, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Tuesday March 5, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cave Hill Cemetery in Cave In Rock, IL. Rev. Arthur Austin Jr. will officiate the services.
