Mary E. Porter, 94, of Elizabethtown, IL died Saturday at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was a member of Peters Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving is her daughter, Sharon (Eugene) Riggs of Elizabethtown, IL; son, Lowell (Betty) Porter of Brighton, IL; 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. "Billy" Porter; daughter, Donna Jean Lambert; infant son, William Deneen Porter; 2 brothers; 1 sister and parents, Frank and Eula Robertson.
Services are scheduled for 1 PM Wednesday May 14, 2014 at Peters Creek Baptist Church in Elizabethtown, IL. with interment in Cave Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 10 AM Wednesday until service time at the church.
Donations may be made to Peters Creek Baptist Church, Rt. 1 Box 233, Elizabethtown, IL 62931.
