Mary Ann Dutton, 84, born May 3, 1938 passed peacefully on January 5, 2023 after a lengthy illness. Mary Ann was born and raised in the Rock Creek area. She lived in various locations throughout the years, including Western New York for 10 years where she continued her beautician business and was also a nurse's aide. She moved back to Hardin County in 1999 to take care of her mother, worked as a boat cook and held many other positions throughout the county.
She is preceded in death by her father, Neulen Dutton; mother, Katheryn Dutton; brothers, Ewell, Hershel and Marvin "Bubby" Dutton; sister, Norma Hufsey; sister-in-laws, Sue and Barbara Dutton and nephews, Larry Don Dutton and Jamie Bright.
Survivors include her brother, Dee Roy Dutton; sister, Linda (Everett) Parkinson; sister-in-law, Christine Dutton; daughters, Danita "Karla" Vickery and Regina "DeDa" (Randall) Conkle; sons, Neulen Dwayne (Rosalie) Risley and Carl Dean (Jodie) Cain; 9 grandchildren, Amber and Angela Derringer, Brittani Martin, Justin Conkle, Amanda Robinson, Racheal and Nicholas Risley and Carson and Kaylee Cain; 9 great grandchildren, Jayci, Isaac and Adalyn DeGrave, Joslin Alexander, Reese and Cole Conkle, Drew and Dylan Robinson and Mary Claire Risley; 2 great great grandchildren, Harper and Bentleigh Seavers and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. She was most recently excited that her newest born great granddaughter, Mary Claire, who was named after her.
Mary Ann was a devout Christian who surrendered to the Lord and read her Bible daily. She loved feeding and watching her birds, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. She made friends everywhere she lived and prided herself on being the best dressed for every occasion.
Memorial services are scheduled for 4 PM Saturday January 7, 2023 at Hardin County Funeral Service in Rosiclare, IL. The family will receive visitors from 2 PM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
