Mrs. Marla Elaine Lane

Marla Elaine Lane, 70, of rural Elizabethtown, passed away at her residence on December 14, 2013. She was born on May 20, 1943 in Harrisburg, IL. To James Gwaltney and Velma “Babe” Summers Gwaltney. She was an ordained minister with the Church of God and a former assistant pastor at Honey Comb Church of God and Good Hope Church.
She is survived by her husband: Roger Lane; Dau: Lori and Rodney Adams; Son: Darus and Cyndi Lane; Grand Children: Gregory Lee Lane, Jacob Paul and Erin Lane, Seth Levi and Leslie Adams, Ethan Samuel Adams, and Jacob Dean Adams; 6 Great Grand Children and 2 nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister Marilyn Jean Mattingly.
Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home, is in charge of services. Visitation will be Tuesday December 17, 2013 from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Funeral services will be Tuesday December 17, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Cemetery. Rev. Peggy Winters will officiate the services. In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made to St. Judes Hospital in her memory.
