Marilyn "Mickey" Shewmaker, 65, of Marion, KY died Thursday at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY. She was a member of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving is her sons, Mike Gipson of Calvert City, KY and Greg Gipson of Smithland, KY; daughter, Rose Gipson of Murray, KY; brothers, Leon Shewmaker of Gary, IN and Eddie Shewmaker of Marion, KY; sister, Nancy McKinney of Marion, KY; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Denise Gipson; parents, Marion Arthur and Mary Geneva Shwemaker and several brothers and sisters.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1 PM Saturday at Love Cemetery in Marion,KY. Gilbert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
