Marie Byers Wolf

Marie Byers Wolf, 91 formerly of Rock Falls, IL. died Friday January 2, 2009 at the Dixon Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born July 11, 1917 near Gorby, AR. the daughter of Alexander and Dora E. (Smith) Gillihan. She married Julian C. Byers. He died in 1974. She later married Kenneth James Wolf. He died in 1988.
Surviving is her daughter, Donna Rae (Randy) Hart of Rock Falls, IL.; one son Kent C. (Gayanne) Byers of Rosiclare, IL.; three brothers, harold Gillihan of Sterling, IL., Carl (Barbara) Gillihan of Donna TX. and Leon (Lena) Gillihan of Rock Falls, IL.; 5 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 5 brothers; 1 sister; 1 step son and 1 grandson..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6-8 PM at Hosick Funeral Home, Rosiclare, IL. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the I.O.O.F. Empire Cemetery, Elizabethtown, IL.
