Loy O. Smith, 73, of Rosiclare, IL died Sunday June 5, 2016 at Hardin County Hospital.
Survivors include his sons, Bobby Smith of Elizabethtown, IL and Brad Smith of Rosiclare, IL; daughter, Amy Smith of Marion, IL; brothers, Fred Smith of Rosiclare, IL and Don Smith of Elizabethtown, IL; 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Smith; parents, Newell and Freda Smith; step daughter, Melissa Williams and brothers, Wendell and Vernon Smith.
Services are scheduled for 1PM Wednesday June 8, 2016 at Cox Funeral Home in Rosiclare, IL. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Per his wishes, Mr. Smith will be cremated and a family burial will be held at a later date.
