Lowell Deon Lasater

Lowell Deon Lasater, 70, of Elizabethtown, IL passed away in his home with his family by his side on June 19, 2017. Deon was born on March 22, 1947 to Robert and Myrtle Laster in Elizabethtown, Il. Deon was an Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion and the Masonic Lodge.
Deon Is survived by his Wife of 16 years: Connie Lasater and Granddaughter, Paige Vaughn living at home. Daughters: Kelly McClellan of Metropolis, Il.; Shelia Thomas and Christy (Donnie) McClenahan of Elizabethtown, Il.; Son: Ira (Mirabela) Cruson of Elizabethtown, Il.; Grandchildren: Ryan (Amanda) McClellan, Mitchell (Hillary) McClellan, Bryce McClellan, Joseph McClenahan, Dylan McClenahan, Deonna Thomas, Emma Thomas and Adelena Cruson; Great-Grandchildren: Katie, Ireland, Zaden, Alleah, Noah, Maddox, and Maverick; Sister: Hazel (Bill) Hess of Hill City, MN; Brother Charles (Judy) Lasater of Mason, MI.
He is preceded in death by his Parents: Robert and Myrtle Lasater; Brothers: Jim, John, and Tom Lasater; Sisters: Helen Lasater Dale and Elizabeth Lasater Pratt.
Hardin County Funeral Service, Rose-Gilbert Funeral Home will oversee arrangements. Service will Be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Rose-Gilbert funeral Home in Cave-In-Rock, IL. Family will receive visitors on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 5:00 pm till 8:00 pm at funeral home and from 11:00 am till time of service on Friday June 23, 2017. Burial will follow at Lasater Cemetery.
