Lou Ella Coffer, 87, of Marion, KY. died Wednesday at her home in Marion, KY. She was a member of Marion Baptist Church and owner of True Value Hardware in Marion, KY.
Surviving is her daughter, Connie Gabehart of Smithland, KY.; sisters, Vivian Vaughn of Reidland, KY., Mary Z. Thomason of Smithland, KY. and Gloria Slayden of Colombus, S.C.; brothers, Lynn Savage of Iuka, KY. and Junior Savage of Calvert City, KY.; 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Wendell Coffer; parents, Lorenzo and Zetta Savage and 2 brothers.
Services are scheduled for 1 PM Friday May 15, 2015 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Paradise Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Thursday at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY. and from 9 AM until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to Marion Baptist Church, 131 E. Depot St., Marion, KY. 42064 or the American Cancer Society, 3140 Parisa Drive, Marion, KY. 42003.
