Loree Austin Colver

Loree Austin Smith Colver, 98, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Hillcrest Convalescent Center. Mrs. Colver was born in Hardin County, IL, the daughter of the late Charles Macon Austin and Nora Holloway Austin. She was also predeceased by her husbands, Raymond H. Smith, Elton E. "Pete" Colver; brothers, Clifford Holloway, Paris Ulyssus, Arthur Thomas, Ewell Charles, Herschel Vernon, Hansel Volney; sisters, Mabel Odelia Partain, Cleo Nigel Gustin, Edna Aliene Hobbs and granddaughter, Kristin Lynn Smith.





Mrs. Colver was a member of Mt. Zion Church and was a retired Cosmetology State Board Examiner. She liked writing, cooking, poetry and family history.





Mrs. Colver is survived by her daughter, Deborah Smith of Durham, NC; son, Daniel Ray Smith and wife Connie of St. Charles, IL; grandchildren, Ryan Christopher Edwards, Matthew David Smith and wife Lisa; Phillip James Smith and wife Courtney; great grandchildren, Amy Jane Smith, Hannah Jo Smith, Emily Joy Smith, Nolan Henry Smith and Aaron Austin Smith.





Private services will be held with interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery.


Hardin County Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
