Linda Lee Hastings

Linda L. Hastings, 77, of Benton, KY left her Earthly life on April 14, 2024 at 7:00 AM.  She was born June 6, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan to Fred and Ruby Lanham Stinnett.  They moved to Crittenden County when Linda was 2 years old.  She always considered Kentucky her home.  Linda worked in the secretarial field for some wonderful companies and made many friendships through the years.

Survivors include her husband and best friend of 35 years, Richard Hastings; stepson, Cole (Jael) Hastings; step grandchildren, Asher and Emilie; sister, Barbara Butler; sister-in-law, Brenda Stinnett and nieces, Cynthia, Debbie, Lisa, Kim, Jennifer, Kathy, Chase and Julia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Ruby Stinnett; brothers, Bob, Mark and Clifton Stinnett; nephew, Bill Adams; sister-in-law, Clara Stinnett and brothers-in-law, Harold Adams and Monroe Butler.

Donations may be made to the Humane Society of your choice.

Services are scheduled for 1 PM Thursday April 18, 2024 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Mexico Cemetery.  The family will receive visitors from 11 AM until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
