Leona Fern Scott, 89, of Elizabethtown, IL. Passed away on March 8, 2013 at the Hardin County General Hospital in Rosiclare, IL. She was born on September 27, 1923 in Pin Oak, Illinois to Norman Louis Barber and Sarah Luvina Owens. On February 26, 1940, she married the love of her life, Thomas Edward Scott.
She is survived by a Daughter: Joyce & Elvis Anderson; Son: Walter Lee “ Walt “ & Gail Scott; 4 Grand Children; and 2 Great Grand Children.
She was preceded in death by her Husband: Thomas Edward Scott; Her Parents; Brothers: Art Barber and Earl Barber; Sister: Alma Garris; and Grandson Daren Anderson.
Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. As per her wishes, Ms. Scott has been cremated. A private funeral service and burial will be held at a later date.
