Ms. Lawanda Jean Hale

Lawanda Jean Hale, 78, of Elizabethtown, IL. passed away on October 3, 2015 at the Rosiclare Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Hardin County on November 4, 1936 to Grover Conn and Erva (Carter) Conn. She was a member of Peters Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her Daughter: Cindy Patton of Eldorado, IL.; Son: Danny and Kathy Barnard of Elizabethtown, IL.; Granddaughter: Stephanie and Bob Knoesel; Granddaughter: Lucinda Patton; Grandson: J.R. Patton; Granddaughter: Clarissa and Michael Michener; Grandson: Broc Barnard; Grandson: Jimmy Barnard; 9 Great Grand Children; Niece: Jan and Troy Swinford; Good friend: Rosemary Thornton; Special friend: Hopper
She was preceded in death by her Parents: Grover and Erva Conn; Husband: Gene Hale; Sisters: Juanita Holbrook, Cleo Bozarth, Lena Mae Pettinato, and Charlene Ezell.
Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. As per her wishes, a private family graveside service will be held. For those who wish, In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Peters Creek Cemetery Fund.
