LaVerne Austin, 80, of Cave-In-Rock, IL died November 20, 2020 at her home in Cave-In-Rock, IL. She was a school bus driver for 20 years for the Hardin County School System.
Survivors include her husband, Luther W. Austin of Cave-in-Rock, IL; sons, Martin L. (Donna S.) Austin of Cave-In-Rock, IL and Mark E. (LeAndra) Austin of Buffalo, TX; grandsons, Matthew L. (Aly) Austin and Christian S. (Vickie) Harvey; great grandsons, Callahan W. Austin and Mateo McNichols; great granddaugters, Tallula Austin, Guinnith Harvey, Olivia Harvey, Jaclyn McNichols and Madeline McNichols and brothers, James and Bobby Gene Lane.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ina Lane and sister, Betty Hobbs.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave. Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
Hardin County Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
