June Carol Downey, 92, formerly of Marion, KY died March 18, 2022 at Calvert City Convalescent Center. She was a member Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah Witness.
Survivors include her daughters, Judy Alsobrook of Murray, KY and Sara (Gary) Watson of Marion, KY; grandchildren, Jeffrey Alsobrook of Paducah, KY and Valerie (Tommy) Phillips of Murray, KY; 5 great grandchildren; stepchildren, Richard (Jeri) Downey and William (Brenda) Downey both of Bardstown, KY and Sylvia Timberlake of Indiana and several step grand and step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Reed Downey; father, Vernon C. Calvert; mother, Julia Ellen Mohon; sister, Anna Jean Hughes and stepchildren, Kenny Downey and Peggy Isaacs.
Services are scheduled for 1 PM Saturday March 26, 2022 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Mapleview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
